05/10/04 - Ford Motor Company oldest manufacturing plant closes after 86 years. The plant was built under the guidance of Henry Ford. The 1957 Ford and Thunderbird F-Code (SUPERCHARGED) cars were all built there along with all the other Ford Models. The Plant is being replaced by a new plant in Flat Rock, just southwest of Detroit. The last car to roll off the line was a 2004 Ford Mustang GT Convertible.
