Doubtful! Sounds like a sales job to me. There were high performance "E & F code" models built, but I've never heard of fiberglass front ends from the factory for them. The largest engine available was the 312 cu. in Y-Block V-8. Larger engines did not appear until 1958. A number of fiberglass front ends have been done by independents, some for racing purposes, but most of the production was front fenders for 57 Fords. This is because no one makes complete steel replacement fenders for them, & due to the "eyebrow" design of the fenders, which trapped dirt water & salt, they were rather prone to rust out behind the headlights. However, repair pieces are available for some areas of the fenders, from suppliers such as EMS Engineering.
